About this painting

Two big white blossoms, one above the other, stand out from a smoky charcoal ground in petals built so thickly that every rim casts its own small shadow. Their centres are dabbed with gold and ochre stamens, and around them gold-coloured leaves with a soft sheen fill the upper half, giving way to copper-orange and rust leaves that weight the bottom of the tall panel.

Two smaller white flowers, upper left and middle right, loosen the column. Below the lower bloom the ground relaxes: grey runs drip downward and a small lilac splash breaks the dark, a deliberately unfinished note under the heavy petals.

TA#097 is an original textured floral painting showing thick white impasto blooms with gold and copper leaves on a black-grey ground, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 11 standard sizes run from 18×36 in (46×91 cm) to 50×100 in (127×254 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Its 1:2 proportion wants a slim wall: the gap between two doorways, one face of a square lobby column, or the far wall of a passage seen end-on. White petals glow against dark surroundings, so it is strong in a bar with smoked oak or black-stained joinery, and in a boutique beside brass rails and grey stone. Angle a spotlight in from the left or right; straight-on light flattens the sculpted petals.

Specified for restaurant & bar, corridor & circulation, gallery & retail and entryway & hallway; it reads as dramatic and moody.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#097 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 18×36 in to 50×100 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#097 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why do the white flowers of TA#097 look carved in raking light?

The petals are built up in thick paint with a heavier rim along each edge, so light skimming across them leaves a crisp shadow line behind every rim. Under flat, even light they read as plain white shapes, and the gold and copper leaves become the stronger feature.

Does the gold in TA#097 change between warm and daylight bulbs?

Yes, noticeably. Warm-white lamps make the gold-coloured leaves rich and buttery and push the copper leaves at the base toward orange. Cool daylight LEDs dull the gold toward mustard and turn the charcoal ground bluer, so a warm colour temperature of about 2700 to 3000K suits it best.

Is TA#097 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#097 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#097 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
