About this painting

One red rose floats in darkness just above the middle of a tall black canvas, tilted so its tight spiral of inner petals faces the viewer at an angle.

There is no stem and no leaf. A haze of rust and burnt orange surrounds the bloom like smoke, sprinkled with tiny bright specks, then dissolves into black, with a fainter trail drifting down below it. The petals shade from crimson in the folds to raspberry pink along the lit edges, blended smoothly with soft transitions, and the black near the top carries a fine granular speckle, so the darkness has grain rather than a dead finish.

HA#651 is an original hyperrealist floral painting showing single realistic red rose glowing against a black ground, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Low, focused light suits it: a cocktail bar, a wine cellar tasting room or an intimate dining room where one narrow beam on the bloom lets the rust halo glow and the black fade into shadow. On a pale wall the canvas reads as a strong dark panel; on charcoal or bottle green the rose seems to hang in mid-air. Oxblood leather, burgundy velvet and smoked glass echo the reds and the black.

Specified for restaurant & bar, gallery & retail, bedroom and living room; it reads as romantic and moody.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for HA#651 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on HA#651 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What does a single red rose suggest in HA#651?

A lone red rose is widely read as love and passion, and shown by itself on black it leans toward the dramatic side of that meaning. It belongs in a bridal suite, beside a perfume counter or in a restaurant built around evening dining.

From which side does the light reach the rose in HA#651?

From the front and slightly above. The outer petals catch it along their top edges in raspberry pink, the inner spiral and undersides drop into deep crimson, and the rust glow behind spreads like light caught in smoke, so the rose looks spotlit in a dark room.

Is HA#651 a print or an original painting?

An original. HA#651 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of HA#651 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
