About this painting

Arches, cones, fans and striped columns crowd every inch of a tall canvas, and among them a few faces surface if you look long enough.

The clearest sits right of centre, a bearded, mask-like face under a wide red brim; above it, a row of black arches over crimson reads like a domed facade. A pale fan opens on the left and a black-and-cream striped curve swings across the lower corner. Crimson, black, tan, cream and slate grey are painted flat with crisp edges, and fine drawn lines run through the larger shapes, giving the busy rhythm of an Art Deco poster cut up and reassembled.

AA#366 is an original abstract geometric painting showing crowded cubist collage of arcs, cones and geometric figures, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

With no empty ground of its own, it needs a calm wall around it: plain cream, warm white or pale plaster, and no other art within arm's reach. In a restaurant it suits the waiting area or the wall facing the bar, where guests have time to pick out the faces; in a shop it can back a single display plinth. Black metal, walnut, oxblood leather and plain cream upholstery repeat its colours without competing. Even, wide light serves it better than a tight spotlight.

Specified for gallery & retail, lobby & reception, restaurant & bar and living room; it reads as bold and dramatic.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#366 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#366 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Are there hidden figures in AA#366?

Yes, several. The easiest to find is the mask-like face right of centre with its black triangular beard; others are suggested by profiles and eyes tucked into the arcs on the left side. They are broken into flat planes in the cubist manner, so they appear and disappear the longer you look.

How does AA#366 hold up next to patterned fabrics?

Poorly, if the fabric is busy. The canvas already carries stripes, arcs and dozens of shapes, so a patterned rug or wallpaper behind it turns into noise. Keep surrounding textiles plain or tonal, in cream, tan or black, and let one crimson cushion or chair pick up the red.

Is AA#366 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#366 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#366 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
