About this painting

Faces stack and overlap on a cream ground, the largest under a broad hat banded in red, yellow, black and green, with one eye seen from the front and another, lashed in red, from the side. Below it a second profile looks left, and black silhouettes close in from both edges, the right one combed with white stripes.

Colour sits in flat, unshaded patches and arcs. Three round dots of yellow, red and blue punctuate the picture, and curved strokes of the primaries swing around the heads like orbits. Heavy black line does all the drawing, smooth and unbroken.

AA#061 is an original abstract figurative painting showing overlapping cubist faces drawn in bold black line with primary colours, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The primary palette hands a designer an easy colour key: a red stool, a cobalt rug or a yellow pendant anywhere nearby will look chosen. It works hardest in cream, white or pale plaster rooms with rounded furniture, where its black outline supplies the only crisp edges. Good homes include a children's boutique, a café wall seen from the queue, or a narrow hallway, where the strong line still reads clearly from the far end.

Specified for gallery & retail, lobby & reception, living room and entryway & hallway; it reads as bold and uplifting.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#061 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#061 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

How many faces are there in AA#061?

At least four. The large hatted head at the top combines a front view and a profile, a second profile sits below it looking left, and the black silhouettes at the left and right edges are faces too, the left one with a single eye showing. Finding them all is part of the fun.

Could AA#061 be painted in softer colours than red, yellow and blue?

Yes. The black line drawing stays as it is and the fills of red, yellow, blue and green can be swapped, for example for terracotta, ochre, sage and dusty blue, which moves the piece from playful toward earthy. Name the colours you want when you send an enquiry.

Is AA#061 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#061 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#061 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
