About this painting

A leopard's head and long neck rise from the right edge of a black canvas, turned in profile to the left with the mouth slightly open and white whiskers fanning out into the dark.

Light falls from above, warming the brow and the top of the head to cream, then bleaching the throat and chest almost white. The rosettes are dense and fine around the face and loosen into larger, rounded blots down the neck. The left two-thirds of the canvas is empty black-brown with faint vertical brush streaks, and that open space in front of the animal's gaze is where the tension comes from.

HA#575 is an original hyperrealist animal painting showing realistic leopard head and shoulders on a black ground, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Because the leopard looks to the left, place it so the gaze runs into the space: to the right of a reception desk, a fireplace or a doorway rather than to its left. The black ground suits charcoal, dark timber and stone walls, where the canvas edge disappears and the animal seems to emerge from the wall itself. In a leather-goods or jewellery boutique, a narrow beam on the head is all the lighting it needs.

Specified for gallery & retail, lobby & reception, home office and living room; it reads as moody and dramatic.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for HA#575 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on HA#575 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is the leopard in HA#575 snarling?

No, it is alert rather than aggressive. The mouth is only just open, showing a few teeth, and the eye is calm and fixed on something out of frame to the left, so the mood is watchful. That keeps it comfortable in a reception area or study where bared fangs would feel hostile.

Can HA#575 be paired with a second animal portrait?

Yes, ideally one facing right, so the two animals look toward each other across a fireplace, a bed or a doorway. Keep the second canvas on a black ground with a pale subject, such as a white horse or a heron, so the pair reads as one set.

Is HA#575 a print or an original painting?

An original. HA#575 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of HA#575 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
