About this painting

One tall sunflower stands in a dark green garden, its gold-ringed head held high under the top edge while broad leaves hang down the stem in overlapping tiers.

Lower down, the plant disappears into a mound of flowers dotted in red, yellow, white and violet, the busiest passage in the picture. Behind it, short vertical strokes of deep bottle green fill the ground, sprinkled with tiny gold and white dots like pollen. The leaves are lighter and smoother than the ground, so the plant stands forward as a bright column, and the small bloom makes the stem feel even taller.

AA#136 is an original abstract floral painting showing Klimt-style single sunflower with cascading leaves over a dense dotted green garden, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Deep green wants warm company: aged brass, olive or moss velvet, dark walnut and amber light. In a dining room or restaurant it suits a candlelit or low-lit wall, where the gold dots and the flower bed glow against the dark ground. Cold daylight-white lamps flatten the greens toward grey, so choose warm bulbs nearby. Russet, rust or terracotta cushions and chairs pick up the small red blooms at its base.

Specified for corridor & circulation, entryway & hallway, restaurant & bar and dining room; it reads as peaceful.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#136 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#136 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why does the sunflower in AA#136 look like a figure?

Because of the way its leaves hang. They overlap in a tall column that widens toward the base, so the plant takes on the outline of someone in a long green gown with the flower head as a face. It is a reading many viewers make, and it gives the canvas more presence than a plain flower study.

Does AA#136 suit a room that is not green?

Yes, if the room is warm. Gold, rust, terracotta and cream all sit well beside its deep greens, and a dark wood dining room takes it easily. It struggles among cool blues and stark white, where the green can look heavy; there, warmer lamps and a wood or brass accent close by restore the balance.

Is AA#136 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#136 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#136 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
