About this painting

A round, pale vase sits on a white ledge at the centre, holding a loose spray of pink, white and orange petals, and everything around it is broken into slabs of knife-laid colour. Ochre and peach blocks stack up on the left, slate blue and a deep teal on the right, with one olive square hanging above the flower.

A black streak drops behind the vase like a shadow or a stem, and fine scratched lines fan out from it toward the left edge. The lower half is the most heavily worked: thick, dragged whites and creams, with darker paint breaking through wherever the knife skipped.

AA#484 is an original abstract still life painting showing abstracted round vase with a pink flower among palette-knife colour blocks, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

As a still life it belongs where people eat: a dining room or a restaurant wall seen from the tables, hung low enough that the vase sits near seated eye level. Its slate and teal side cools the ochre side, so it works in rooms that mix warm timber with cool painted walls. In a guest suite it reads best from the pillows, across the room, with morning light from the window raking over the knife marks.

Specified for restaurant & bar, dining room, guest room & suite and living room; it reads as cozy & warm and peaceful.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#484 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#484 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is AA#484 a still life or an abstract?

Both. The vase, flowers and ledge are recognisable, but the space around them is built from flat blocks of colour with no table edge or perspective. It sits between the two, which suits rooms that want something gentler and more domestic than a pure abstract.

Could the cool blocks in AA#484 be warmed toward a terracotta scheme?

Yes. The slate blue and deep teal on the right can be shifted toward sage or a muted rust while the ochre, cream and pink stay as painted. Keep one cool block near the vase, though, or the pink flower loses the contrast that makes it stand out.

Is AA#484 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#484 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#484 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
