About this painting

Scarlet and orange fill the upper half of the square, then break apart along the middle into a crowded row of small knife marks in lilac, mint, cobalt, mustard and black. The red is built from broad, overlapping strokes whose ridged edges stay visible, and a cluster of dark marks just left of centre anchors that row.

Below the band the paint thins and lightens into cream, sand and pale peach, crossed by a few dark drips and rust streaks running down from the busy middle. Read top to bottom, it goes from loud to crowded to quiet, and the open lower third keeps the red from overwhelming a room.

AA#1032 is an original abstract painting showing red-orange colour field over a band of small multicolour knife marks with cream below, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 10 standard sizes run from 24×24 in (61×61 cm) to 72×72 in (183×183 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Hang it where people face it while seated, such as the wall that closes off a run of restaurant banquettes or across from a long dining table, with the centre near eye height so the band of small marks lands in a seated guest's line of sight. Grey plaster, concrete and walnut panelling all calm the scarlet; warm, low lighting pushes it toward orange. In a lobby, the 60 or 72 inch square holds a wall on its own without a companion.

Specified for restaurant & bar, lobby & reception, dining room and living room; it reads as bold and uplifting.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#1032 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×24 in to 72×72 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#1032 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is there a hidden scene in the row of small marks across AA#1032?

No, the band is non-representational. Because it sits on a horizon-like line between red and cream, some people read a far-off waterfront in it, but nothing is drawn there. It stays open, which lets the painting suit a restaurant or a living room equally.

Which accent colours pick up the middle band of AA#1032?

Lilac, mint, cobalt and mustard all appear in that row of marks, so one cushion, glass vase or chair fabric in any of them links the painting to its surroundings without adding more red. Mint and lilac sit well against a grey sofa; cobalt suits navy or charcoal schemes.

Is AA#1032 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#1032 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#1032 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
