About this painting

Dozens of tiny white pictograms, from birds and trees to arrows, umbrellas, waves and stick figures, are scattered over a brushed terracotta-red ground like marks on a cave wall. A thin grey square is drawn around the busiest cluster in the upper centre, and the symbols spill out of it, curling down the left side and drifting toward the lower right corner, where small plus signs gather.

The red is laid in loose, visible brushstrokes, darker in places, so the ground has movement behind the crisp white line work. The paint itself stays flat.

AA#357 is an original abstract folk-inspired painting showing white scribbled pictograms scattered over a brushed terracotta-red field, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 10 standard sizes run from 24×24 in (61×61 cm) to 72×72 in (183×183 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The symbols are small and reward people who sit or stand close, so place it where guests linger within a couple of metres: beside a restaurant booth, opposite a guest-suite bed or at the end of a dining table. The terracotta looks warmest against off-white plaster, dark oak doors and walnut. In daylight the red reads like brick; under warm evening lamps it shifts closer to rust.

Specified for restaurant & bar, guest room & suite, living room and dining room; it reads as bold and cozy & warm.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#357 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×24 in to 72×72 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#357 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What do the white symbols on AA#357 mean?

Read them as a picture rather than a text. The marks are small pictograms of birds, plants, waves, arrows and little people, drawn in the spirit of rock carvings and early writing, so each viewer can build a story from them instead of decoding a fixed message.

What is the grey square drawn on AA#357?

A thin grey outline that boxes in the densest group of symbols in the upper centre. It works like a frame inside the painting, giving the scattered line work a centre of gravity and a clear structure when the canvas is seen from across a room.

Is AA#357 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#357 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#357 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
