About this painting

One enormous bloom swirls open across the canvas, its petals cycling from blush and peach at the top through coral, orange and red to cobalt, teal and green at the base. Every petal is one heavy swipe of the knife, the paint thick enough to leave a crisp raised lip at its tip.

The gold seed head sits off-centre, up and to the left, and the petals spiral away from it like a pinwheel. White petals on the left melt into the pale background while the right side stays saturated, so the flower seems to dissolve on one edge and blaze on the other.

CA#019 is an original colorful floral painting showing single large bloom with knife-shaped petals in orange, red, blue and green, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Because the petals shift from warm above to cool below, the canvas can link peach or terracotta upholstery with a teal or green rug in the same room. In a hotel suite, put it opposite the bed so guests wake to the whole spiral; in a restaurant, a tall size beside the host stand works well. Pale oak, cream boucle and brushed brass all suit the cream ground.

Specified for guest room & suite, restaurant & bar, entryway & hallway and bedroom; it reads as uplifting and cozy & warm.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#019 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#019 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why do the petals of CA#019 change colour from one side of the flower to the other?

The bloom is painted as a spectrum more than a botanical study: warm petals gathered around the top, cool blues and greens spilling downward. One canvas therefore carries both halves of a scheme, and it can sit between warm timber and cool textiles without clashing with either.

Which colours from CA#019 work best for cushions or a bedspread nearby?

Take one or two, not all of them. Coral or burnt orange picks up the upper petals, deep teal echoes the lowest strokes, and cream matches the ground. Repeating two of these in textiles ties the room to the canvas, while adding a third bright colour tends to compete with the flower.

Is CA#019 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#019 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#019 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
