About this painting

A ribbon of molten orange cuts a slanting path over a near-black canvas, starting high at the upper right and bending down to spill out at the lower left, like lava seen from the air. A second, smaller curl of amber hugs the left edge, cut off from the main band by a channel of dark ground.

The orange is laid on in rounded, overlapping dabs with yellow ochre caught in their crests, so the band glows brightest at its upper end. Around it the brown-black is brushed in long streaks that follow the same slant, and the whole lower right is left as dark, unbroken weight.

AA#764 is an original abstract landscape painting showing diagonal band of orange impasto blooms across a dark brown-black field, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Hang it where the light is low and the room dark-toned: the back wall of a bar in smoked timber, a wine room, or a dining room's far wall under low pendants, where the orange band glows like fire seen through a window. Charcoal, cognac leather, walnut and blackened steel suit it; a stark white wall makes the dark field look heavier. The tall shape fits a narrow pier between two doors or the face of a lobby column.

Specified for restaurant & bar, gallery & retail, lobby & reception and dining room; it reads as dramatic and moody.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#764 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#764 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What does the orange band in AA#764 represent?

Nothing literal is painted, but most people read it as a lava flow or a burning shoreline seen from above: a bright crest, darker cooling edges and black ground all around it. It hangs just as well as pure abstraction, with no story attached.

How does AA#764 change between dim evening light and daylight?

Under warm, low light the orange seems to glow from within and the ground drops almost to black, which suits a bar or a restaurant at night. In daylight the brown undertone of the field comes through and its diagonal streaks show, so the canvas looks softer and more layered.

Is AA#764 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#764 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#764 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
