About this painting

Close-set black trunks rise through white mist toward a canopy of deep teal-green, and at their feet the forest floor glows gold. Each trunk is pulled down the canvas in a single dragged stroke, ragged and dripping at the edges, so the wood looks both wet and charred.

The canopy carries the heaviest paint, a crusted, mottled green with a few leaf shapes left pale where light breaks through. Between the trunks the centre stays nearly white, and a lane of gold and ochre speckle runs up from the bottom edge into it, giving the narrow format depth: you look down a path, not at a pattern.

AA#520 is an original abstract landscape painting showing stylised forest of black tree trunks with a green canopy, white mist and gold ground, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 11 standard sizes run from 18×36 in (46×91 cm) to 50×100 in (127×254 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The long verticals of the trunks echo door frames, slatted timber and tall panelling, which is why it sits so naturally as the last thing seen down a corridor, or on a narrow pier between two lobby openings. Pale in the middle and dark at the sides, it reads clearly from the far end of a hall and still rewards a close look at the gold. Greige or taupe walls, bronze trim and a downlight grazing the canopy suit it better than stark white.

Specified for corridor & circulation, lobby & reception, entryway & hallway and living room; it reads as moody and dramatic.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#520 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 18×36 in to 50×100 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#520 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is the gold floor of AA#520 a solid block of colour?

No, it is broken up. Gold, ochre and cream flecks are spattered and dabbed over one another, so the floor shimmers instead of sitting as a flat band. The speckle thins as it climbs between the trunks and dissolves into the white mist at the centre.

Will AA#520 hold up in a dimly lit hallway?

Yes, better than most dark paintings. The white mist in the middle reflects whatever light there is, so the black trunks stay legible as silhouettes under a single downlight, and the gold at the base picks up warm light from wall washers or skirting strips.

Is AA#520 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#520 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#520 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
