About this painting

A column of white water falls straight down the middle of the canvas, splitting two dark banks of foliage and spreading into a bright pool at the foot. The paint is pushed on with a knife in thick, broken layers, and white flecks are flicked across the black-green bushes like spray.

The colour is cooler and stranger than a plain landscape. A pale blush pink sits high on the left of the fall, jade and emerald climb the upper right, and a strip of olive marks the waterline. Grey along the right edge keeps the brightest white in the centre.

AA#091 is an original abstract landscape painting showing abstract white cascade between dark green and pink knife-textured masses, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The vertical fall suits a tall, narrow wall: a pier between two windows, the panel beside a lift lobby, or the end of a row of restaurant booths where diners face it. Dark surroundings serve it best. Charcoal plaster, black slatted timber or bottle-green paint let the white column carry the light, and a single downlight aimed at the middle of the cascade does the rest.

Specified for lobby & reception, restaurant & bar, gallery & retail and living room; it reads as dramatic and moody.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#091 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#091 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is AA#091 a waterfall or an abstract?

Both readings hold. Seen from the doorway, the picture is clearly a cascade between two banks, with a pool at the bottom. Up close it breaks into knife strokes, spatter and patches of pink and jade that describe nothing in particular, and that shift with distance is what keeps it interesting.

Where does the texture in AA#091 sit highest?

The thickest paint is in the white column and the upper right, where knife strokes leave ridges and small peaks. The dark bushes are built from shorter dabs with white spatter on top. A lamp from one side picks out the ridges in the falling water first.

Is AA#091 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#091 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#091 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
