Misty gray and indigo horizon bands textured canvas

A misty shoreline is pared down to horizontal bands: pale grey sky at the top, a dark indigo strip of land roughly a third down from the top, then a wide stretch of silver-white water that seems to hold the light. Small yellow-green flecks glint along the indigo and in the cloud above it, like low sun on wet ground.

Lower down, white streaks and touches of blue suggest wind on the water before a second indigo band closes the bottom edge. The paint is scraped and layered in heavy horizontal passes, rough enough that the grey looks like weathered stone up close.
