About this painting

Hairline black contours trace a set of soft, overlapping white and pale grey forms down the canvas, like folds of draped cloth outlined in ink. Colour is held to the edges: a burnt terracotta mass rises from the lower left, a narrow column of navy-black drops through the lower right with thin white runs inside it, and a sky-blue strip fills the right margin.

At the top left a black wedge and a flash of ochre close the corner. The paint is smooth and blended; interest comes from soft gradients meeting those wiry lines, which wobble and thicken like a pen moved freely across the surface.

AA#1096 is an original abstract painting showing fluid grey-white shapes with thin black lines, terracotta, navy and pale blue patches, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Because the strong colour sits at the corners, the canvas still registers when seen at an angle, which makes it useful on a boardroom side wall or the wall beside a hotel bed. Cognac leather, walnut and blackened steel pick up its three accents. Keep the wall white or very pale grey; on a darker ground the soft central forms lose their outline and merge into the paintwork behind.

Specified for meeting & boardroom, guest room & suite, home office and living room; it reads as calming.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#1096 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#1096 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

How are the fine black lines in AA#1096 painted?

They are drawn freehand with a fine brush over the finished white forms, so they vary in weight, thicken at the joins and break off in places. That hand-drawn irregularity is what stops the soft shapes from looking sprayed or printed.

Which of AA#1096's colours should lead the room around it?

The terracotta, because it is the largest and warmest accent. Let it lead in upholstery or a rug, use the navy in smaller doses such as a cushion or lamp base, and keep the pale blue for glass or ceramics. Reversing that balance tends to make the painting look washed out.

Is AA#1096 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#1096 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#1096 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
