About this painting

Seven tall figures in near-black green bow forward one behind another, their backs forming a curve like a breaking wave, toward a tiny white spark at the lower left. The smallest stands at the front, bent almost double, holding the spark in an outstretched hand; each figure behind is a little taller and bends a little less, so the line of heads climbs to the top right.

Flat, matte paint throughout: dense bottle green for the coats, greys of different weights for the legs. Long arms hang straight down with the hands open, and the whole left half of the canvas stays empty off-white.

AA#581 is an original abstract figurative painting showing row of elongated dark green figures bowing toward a spark, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Because every figure leans left, the canvas has a strong direction: set it on the right-hand side of an entrance, or on the closing wall of a hall, so the bow points toward people coming in. Mid-grey or putty walls frame the off-white ground and keep the green from reading as plain black. A low black bench or slim console below repeats the dark mass without crowding the empty side.

Specified for gallery & retail, restaurant & bar, entryway & hallway and living room; it reads as moody and peaceful.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#581 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#581 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What is the small white spark in AA#581?

A tiny starburst of fine white lines held by the front figure. It is the only point of light in the picture and every figure bows toward it, so it is often read as an idea, a wish or a moment of wonder, though the painting leaves that open.

Do AA#581 and AA#580 make a pair?

Yes. Both show long-limbed figures on a pale ground with the same flat finish, but AA#580 is an upright, still crowd in black and grey, while AA#581 is a curved, moving line in bottle green. Hung side by side along a corridor, they read as stillness and motion.

Is AA#581 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#581 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#581 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
