Deep purple and gold light burst abstract acrylic painting

A burst of cream and gold light breaks open just above the centre of a dark navy and violet sky, scattering sparks outward like a flare seen through storm cloud. Lilac haze rings the light, then gives way to clumps of near-black purple across the lower half, settling into deep ultramarine at the bottom edge. A thin pale streak cuts diagonally from the lower left toward the glow.

The paint is laid in short, broken dabs, heaviest around the light, where cream and yellow are piled thickly enough to catch shadows. Tiny white and yellow specks spatter the dark like stars.
