About this painting

Horizontal strokes of navy, pale gold, grey and white stack from top to bottom like reflections broken up on moving water.

Each band is a single flat-edged pass dragged sideways, ragged where it ends and ridged where it laps over the colour beneath. The middle holds the brightest zone, a broad run of white with grey-blue slipping through it; above and below, navy alternates with gold that turns olive in places. Nothing runs vertically, so even on a tall canvas all the movement is side to side.

AA#303 is an original abstract landscape painting showing layered horizontal strokes of navy blue, pale yellow gold, white and grey, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

In a hotel suite it fits the narrow panel beside the bed or between wardrobe and window, where a tall canvas is needed but the colour should stay quiet. Navy headboards, oatmeal bedding and brushed brass lamps pick up its three main colours. Light it from above: a downlight or picture light over the top edge throws a thin shadow under each horizontal ridge, which a lamp to one side would miss.

Specified for guest room & suite, meeting & boardroom, bedroom and living room; it reads as calming.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#303 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#303 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Does AA#303 show water or a shoreline?

Not literally; it is abstract. Still, the stacked horizontal bands read naturally as water, sky and shore, with the white middle zone like sun on the surface, so it sits well in a room with a coastal or lakeside outlook without repeating the view.

Which metal finishes suit the gold in AA#303?

The gold here is a pale butter yellow with olive passages, so brushed brass and champagne bronze match it better than polished gold. Chrome and nickel work too, but they make the gold look yellower and the navy colder, which suits a crisper, more corporate room.

Is AA#303 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#303 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#303 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
