About this painting

A harbour front is built from blocks of colour: ultramarine, teal, grey and white shapes stand along a hard dark horizon, with small orange and coral lights strung just above the waterline. Below the line everything is mirrored and loosened, the reflections dissolving into grey, white, sky blue and a broad column of yellow ochre.

Thin black verticals rise above the horizon like masts and drop below it as their own reflections, stitching the two halves together. Knife-laid slabs overlap across the surface, heaviest in the yellow reflection and the white blocks, and the bottom right warms into sand.

AA#1030 is an original abstract cityscape painting showing abstract waterfront with blue, teal, grey and yellow blocks reflected in water, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 10 standard sizes run from 24×24 in (61×61 cm) to 72×72 in (183×183 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

A square canvas centres easily, so it suits a wall with one clear axis: over a bed, above a chest of drawers, or opposite the door of a guest room. The blues and teal tie in with coastal or spa schemes, while the yellow reflection keeps it from feeling cold. Hang it on its own; the square already holds a complete scene, and a second piece beside it weakens the horizon.

Specified for guest room & suite, spa & wellness, living room and bedroom; it reads as calming.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#1030 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×24 in to 72×72 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#1030 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is AA#1030 a real harbour or city?

No particular place is shown. The blocks above the dark line read as waterfront buildings and the black uprights as masts or posts, but the scene is invented, which lets it hang in a coastal hotel, a lake house or a city flat without pointing anywhere specific.

Which areas of AA#1030 stand up most in side light?

In the yellow ochre reflection below the centre and in the white blocks above the horizon, where the knife left slabs with raised edges. The deep blue at the top left is smoother, so under a ceiling spot the lower half shows more texture than the sky.

Is AA#1030 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#1030 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#1030 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
