About this painting

A diagonal river of white and sky blue cuts across a deep navy field, while a broad arc of saturated yellow swings up from the lower right corner like a sandbar seen from the air.

The navy is the roughest area, dabbed and stippled into a thick, pitted crust that never reads as flat. Inside the blue run, a fine yellow thread shadows a white rivulet from top to bottom. The yellow arc is built in layered bands with cream and grey between them, close to the look of cut stone or a tide line. Navy fills the upper right, and that weight balances the bright curve below it.

AA#803 is an original abstract seascape painting showing fluid abstract of deep blue with white flow lines and a raised gold arc, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 10 standard sizes run from 24×24 in (61×61 cm) to 72×72 in (183×183 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Navy and yellow make a strong pairing, so the canvas settles best where one of them already appears in the furnishings: navy velvet seating, brass lamps, mustard throws. On greige or warm white plaster the dark field gives the wall depth; on charcoal it sinks, so skip very dark walls. A ceiling spot aimed back at the canvas from about half a metre out picks out the stippled crust, and in a guest suite the yellow arc catches bedside lamplight after dark.

Specified for lobby & reception, guest room & suite, living room and bedroom; it reads as bold and dramatic.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#803 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×24 in to 72×72 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#803 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Does AA#803 depict a coastline?

It can be read that way. The white and blue run looks like surf along a shore seen from above, and the yellow arc like sand or a reef edge, but nothing is drawn literally, and it holds up equally as pure abstraction where nothing else in the room is nautical.

What is the fine yellow line running through the blue of AA#803?

A single thread of yellow laid beside a white rivulet, running from the upper edge to just short of the lower one. It links the yellow arc at lower right to the left side of the canvas, so the warm colour appears in two places and the composition never splits into a blue half and a yellow half.

Is AA#803 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#803 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#803 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
