About this painting

A single white summit rises to a sharp point against a near-black sky pricked with stars, and the night takes up more than half of the picture.

The mountain is modelled in thick sculpted strokes that run diagonally down its faces like wind-packed snow. In front, a row of slate-blue and charcoal ridges overlaps across the bottom, divided from the white peak by a band of soft grey mist. The palette stays strictly black, white and grey, and the stars vary in size: a few bright points among a fine dust.

TA#807 is an original textured landscape painting showing white plaster-relief snowy peaks under a black starry sky, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a sculpted relief surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Strict monochrome lets it sit against materials that would fight a coloured painting: black marble, smoked oak, leather, chrome and polished concrete. In a bar or lounge with low ambient light, a single narrow spotlight on the summit makes the white peak glow while the starfield sinks into the dark. The tall format fits between columns, on a narrow lobby wall, or over a long, low sofa, its height interrupting a room otherwise built of horizontals.

Specified for gallery & retail, lobby & reception, restaurant & bar and living room; it reads as dramatic and moody.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#807 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Sculpted relief is built up in layers with drying time between them, so it costs more than a flat painting of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#807 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is the mountain in TA#807 a real peak?

It is not a portrait of a named mountain. The pyramid shape recalls high alpine summits such as the Matterhorn, but this is an imagined peak, simplified to one clean point so the silhouette reads clearly across a room.

Are the stars in TA#807 raised like the snow?

No. The stars are small dots and flecks of white on a smooth dark ground, which keeps the sky quiet; the relief is concentrated in the mountain. That contrast between a flat night and a heavy sculpted summit is what makes the peak look so solid.

Is TA#807 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#807 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#807 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
