About this painting

A snow-covered peak takes up nearly the entire canvas, its faces hacked out in slabs of white, grey and black paint, with only corners of pale teal sky left at the top and sides. The summit rises at the top centre, a long ridge cuts down the left, and a bright snowfield crosses the middle before dark rock buttresses take over the lower right.

The paint is heavy and directional: the knife drags it down the slopes in strokes that end in ragged points, like icicles or broken scree. A few touches of rust brown near the top left are the only warm colour.

IA#050 is an original impressionist landscape painting showing black and white snowy mountain peak on a pale teal sky, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

With almost no colour beyond a pale teal sky, it sits easily in interiors built from concrete, blackened steel, glass and grey stone, and it will not argue with a brand colour elsewhere in the room. That makes it useful in a showroom, a gallery-style shop or an office reception. Light it with a track spot at a steep angle: the knife ridges cast shadow and the black rock faces gain depth.

Specified for meeting & boardroom, workspace & office, gallery & retail and home office; it reads as dramatic and moody.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#050 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#050 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is IA#050 closer to abstract or realistic?

Somewhere between. At a distance the shape is unmistakably a mountain, but close up the peak breaks into separate knife marks of black, white and grey with little detail, so it suits interiors that lean modern. The pale teal sky is the one element that anchors it as landscape.

How strong is the teal in IA#050?

It is pale, close to a misty aqua, and appears only around the summit and down the edges. It cools the white snow and links to glass, sage or duck-egg accents, but the painting still reads mainly as black and white, so it will not tint a neutral room.

Is IA#050 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#050 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#050 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
