About this painting

A teal seam cuts across a slab of heavy plaster, slanting from the left edge toward the bottom right and splitting cream swells below from a cliff of ochre, apricot and caramel above.

The two halves are worked differently. Below the seam, long combed ridges sweep down to the bottom like wind-shaped sand; above it, the ochre is stacked in short, broken slabs that rise high off the surface and open into small pits. A corner of plum and navy at the top right gives the only dark note, and a rough white patch fills the top left.

TA#582 is an original textured landscape painting showing heavy plaster waves in beige, ochre, brown with teal and navy, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a sculpted relief surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Relief this deep should be seen at an angle as well as head-on, so a wall people walk past suits it better than one they only face: the side wall of a restaurant passage, a broad lobby column or the return beside a bar counter. Terracotta, cognac leather, rust velvet and raw oak answer the ochre, and one teal or ink-blue object nearby picks up the cool accents. In a living room, keep the furniture below it low.

Specified for restaurant & bar, lobby & reception, entryway & hallway and living room; it reads as cozy & warm and dramatic.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#582 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Sculpted relief is built up in layers with drying time between them, so it costs more than a flat painting of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#582 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Can TA#582 be read as a view from above?

Yes, and that is the easiest way into it. The cream ridges read as sand or snow, the teal seam as a thin river or tide line and the ochre and brown mass as a sunlit cliff, so it works like an aerial photograph of a coast. Nothing is drawn literally, so it stays abstract.

Is the ochre half of TA#582 rougher than the cream half?

Yes. The ochre and apricot mass across the upper centre is piled in broken slabs with deep pits between them, while the cream area below is lower and combed into parallel ridges, so a grazing light makes the top half look rugged and the bottom half rippled.

Is TA#582 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#582 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#582 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
