About this painting

A raised spine of cream plaster runs diagonally from the top right corner to the foot of the canvas, cracked and stepped like the edge of an eroded cliff.

Either side of it the surface is quieter: on the left a broad field of pale sand and stone grey, lightly pitted, and on the right a warmer band of tan that deepens to gold near the top. The ridge itself is built up thickest, in layered flakes and ledges that cast their own small shadows. There is almost no colour contrast here; the drama comes from height and texture alone.

TA#318 is an original textured landscape painting showing heavy cream and beige plaster relief resembling a rocky ridge, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a sculpted relief surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Under a single downlight, as in a recessed niche or on the back wall of a lift lobby, the top right glows gold and each ledge along the ridge throws a short shadow; in flat, even light the canvas settles into calm stone grey. A charcoal or dark-plastered niche in a hotel entrance makes the most of it, and so does the end wall of a dimly lit spa. The single diagonal also suits a narrow wall between two doors.

Specified for lobby & reception, spa & wellness, living room and guest room & suite; it reads as calming and moody.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#318 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Sculpted relief is built up in layers with drying time between them, so it costs more than a flat painting of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#318 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why does TA#318 look golden in one photograph and grey in another?

The palette is mostly cream, sand and stone grey, with warm tan gathered at the top right. Under a warm spotlight that tan and the highlights along the ridge turn golden; in cooler daylight the whole canvas reads as grey-beige stone. Expect it to follow the lighting of the room.

From which side should light fall on TA#318?

From above and slightly to the right. The ridge runs from the top right corner downwards, so light from that side catches the upper face of every ledge and leaves shadow beneath each flake. Light coming from the lower left flattens the relief and makes the surface look smoother than it is.

Is TA#318 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#318 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#318 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
