About this painting

A lone white tree rises from a copper-brown field and opens into a canopy of lace, hundreds of small cells outlined in raised cream paint. The trunk starts low on the right as a clean white sweep, with a smoky grey seam along the bark, and bends left as it climbs, so the canopy spreads over the top of the canvas and spills down its left side.

Taupe clouds are washed in behind the white network, so the foliage looks layered rather than cut out. One arm of lace curls down the right edge, and below it nearly half the canvas is bare copper, streaked like brushed timber.

MA#1027 is an original minimalist floral painting showing single tree with lace-like white foliage on a copper-brown field, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The copper ground behaves like a timber veneer, so the canvas sits comfortably against walnut panelling, oatmeal plaster, cream bouclé and travertine; on a cool blue-grey wall the brown turns muddy. In a restaurant, place it where a ceiling spot skims the canvas and catches the raised white lines of the canopy. Nothing important happens in the bare lower half, so a ceramic urn or a tall branch arrangement can stand in front of it.

Specified for lobby & reception, restaurant & bar, guest room & suite and living room; it reads as cozy & warm and peaceful.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for MA#1027 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on MA#1027 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is MA#1027 meant to show a real tree, or something closer to coral?

Somewhere between the two. The trunk and lean are those of a windswept tree, but the canopy is stylised into a net of open cells that recalls a sea fan or a length of lace more than leaves. That abstraction is why it sits better in a minimalist or wabi-sabi room than a botanical one.

How does the copper ground of MA#1027 change between daylight and warm evening light?

In daylight it reads as a dusty terracotta-brown and the faint vertical grain shows. Under warm 2700K lamps it deepens toward cinnamon and the canopy turns creamier. In a room lit cool, aim one warm-white lamp at the canvas so the brown does not go flat and grey.

Is MA#1027 a print or an original painting?

An original. MA#1027 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of MA#1027 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
