Charcoal to cream gradient with lone bird canvas painting

Charcoal as dark as a night sky hangs across the upper canvas and dissolves downward into a pale cream haze, like fog lifting off water. The change happens slowly through smoky greys that drift in faint vertical veils, so no line marks where sky ends and ground begins.

High in the dark at upper right, one small bird with angled wings is the only figure, easy to miss at first and hard to stop seeing afterwards. The blending is fine and the surface smooth, leaving the lower half almost empty.
