About this painting

Pale grey ridges stack down the canvas like hills fading into mist, and near the top a single band of mustard gold cuts across them.

The paint goes on in thin, translucent washes. Each ridge is a slightly different grey with a soft, ragged edge, and slivers of bare white open between the layers like light on water or snow; one runs straight through the gold. Below the band the canvas opens into a broad, nearly empty grey field before a last low ridge near the bottom. It reads as a landscape seen through haze, held together by one warm stripe.

MA#040 is an original minimalist landscape painting showing pale grey layered ridges with a single mustard gold band, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The washes are pale enough to keep a small space feeling open, so it works in a spa relaxation room, a guest suite or a narrow entrance hall where heavier colour would crowd the walls. Its mustard gold picks up brass fittings, honey oak, ochre linen and cane. In a hallway, hang it facing the door with the gold band at or just above eye height, which usually means setting the canvas a little lower than a standard hanging line.

Specified for guest room & suite, spa & wellness, bedroom and entryway & hallway; it reads as peaceful.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for MA#040 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on MA#040 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Does MA#040 show a real landscape?

Not a specific place. The overlapping grey washes read as ridges or banks of mist receding into the distance, and the gold band can be read as a slope catching late sun. The forms stay loose enough that some see layered stone or drifting sand instead.

Can the mustard gold band in MA#040 be changed to another accent colour?

Yes. The band is a single area, so it can be repainted in sage, dusty blue, terracotta or a deeper ochre while the pale grey ridges stay the same. Pick a colour already present in the room's textiles or joinery and the painting will link straight into the scheme.

Is MA#040 a print or an original painting?

An original. MA#040 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of MA#040 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
