About this painting

White and ice-blue ridges sweep through the centre of an upright canvas like snowfields glimpsed through moving cloud, with a steel-navy slope cutting in from the right beneath them.

Above them hangs an almost empty pale grey-blue sky, and the bottom quarter fades into a warm cream that grounds the cooler colours. The strokes are long and curved, each laid with a broad brush in one movement, and small white flecks over the lower ridges look like blown snow. It is closer to a memory of mountains than a map of them, soft at the edges and smoothly finished throughout.

IA#165 is an original impressionist landscape painting showing soft blue and white sweeps suggesting snowy peaks or waves over a cream base, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Because the warm cream sits at the bottom, hang it low enough that its base lines up with a bench, a console or a headboard; the cream then reads as a continuation of oak, linen or travertine below it. In a guest suite it suits greige walls and white bedding. Choose a warm-white lamp of around 3000K: under very cool LEDs the cream turns grey and the canvas loses its only warm note.

Specified for entryway & hallway, corridor & circulation, guest room & suite and spa & wellness; it reads as calming and peaceful.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#165 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#165 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Are the shapes in IA#165 mountains or waves?

They are snowy ridges, though the curling strokes give them some of the movement of surf, and the painting holds either reading. The navy band works as a shadowed slope, and the cream base as a valley floor or a foreground of snow in low sun.

Could the navy slope in IA#165 be softened for a very pale spa scheme?

Yes. The navy is the only dark passage, so it can be eased to a mid blue-grey to keep the whole canvas light, or deepened if the room needs more weight. The ice blue, white and cream stay as they are, so the mood of the picture does not change.

Is IA#165 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#165 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#165 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
