About this painting

A thin gold-white streak of light runs across the exact centre of the canvas, where slate blue water narrows beneath a beige sandbar and a wide, pale sky. The paint is handled like watercolour: thin washes bleed into one another with soft edges, and fine drawn lines drift across the blue like currents.

Nothing is raised; the surface stays flat. Below the water the foreground lightens to pale sand, freckled at both lower corners with tiny brown and grey specks, and a faint peach touch sits at the right end of the gold. The top third is left almost empty, which gives the whole picture its stillness.

IA#054 is an original impressionist landscape painting showing soft watercolour horizon of blue water, sandbar and pale sky with a gold streak, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Slate, beige and cream sit comfortably with navy upholstery, walnut, travertine and brushed brass, and the upright shape suits the narrow wall beside a bed, a treatment-room wall or the pier between boardroom windows. Being flat and pale at the top, it reads evenly under ordinary ceiling light with little glare. Hang it so the gold line falls near eye height, about 150 cm, and the horizon sits where a real one would.

Specified for spa & wellness, meeting & boardroom, guest room & suite and bedroom; it reads as peaceful and calming.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#054 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#054 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is there a mountain in IA#054?

No. What can look like a far hill is a beige sandbar, with open water below it and sky above. The canvas reads as a flat coastal horizon or estuary in low light, painted in loose washes rather than as any particular place, so it carries no regional association into a room.

How does the gold streak in IA#054 change with lighting?

It shifts temperature rather than strength. Under warm lamps the streak reads as low sun on water; under daylight or cool LEDs it moves toward a silvery white. Either way it stays the brightest note against the slate blue, so it holds the centre without needing a spotlight.

Is IA#054 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#054 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#054 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
