About this painting

Sweet pea flowers in pink, mauve and lilac open across the left of a near-black canvas, their ruffled petals lit as if by a single lamp in front of them.

From the cluster, pale yellow-green stems run right and climb from the lower corner, with fine tendrils curling in thin spirals against the dark. A lone bluish-lilac bloom hangs below the main stem and a violet bud closes the composition at upper right. The petals are blended in soft gradients, cream catching their edges and the veins left faint, while the ground stays deep and even so the flowers seem to come forward off the wall.

HA#359 is an original hyperrealist floral painting showing pink and lilac sweet pea flowers with curling tendrils on a dark ground, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 11 standard sizes run from 36×18 in (91×46 cm) to 100×50 in (254×127 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Pink and lilac on near-black suits plum, aubergine or dusty-rose upholstery and brass fittings. On a white wall the dark rectangle reads as a strong graphic block, so leave generous space either side; on a deep wall colour such as charcoal or bottle green its edges dissolve and only the flowers show. Light it with a warm spot from above: the petals hold the light while the ground stays black.

Specified for restaurant & bar, lobby & reception, dining room and living room; it reads as moody and romantic.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for HA#359 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 36×18 in to 100×50 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on HA#359 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What do sweet peas mean in HA#359?

In Victorian flower language sweet peas are often read as thanks for a pleasant time, or as a fond goodbye, which is why they turn up in wedding and farewell bouquets. Here the meaning stays light; the painting is mainly a study of petal shape and colour against the dark.

How do the curling tendrils in HA#359 show at a distance?

They are painted as fine pale lines, so from across a room they fade and the picture reads as blooms and stems on black. Close up, from a dining table or a banquette, the spirals become a delicate second layer of detail for the guests sitting nearest the canvas.

Is HA#359 a print or an original painting?

An original. HA#359 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of HA#359 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
