About this painting

A row of open anemones and poppies bursts across the middle of the canvas in hot pink, saffron yellow, cobalt blue and orange, each bloom centred on a dark eye.

Two flowers in the very centre, one magenta and one blush pink edged in coral, are the largest and brightest; the rest fan out to the sides. Below the band, knife strokes in magenta, teal, green and orange sweep downward and outward like a splash, while above it a cream and pale-blue ground is scraped thin. The petals are thick and knife-laid, with ridged edges that stand out from the canvas.

CA#778 is an original colorful floral painting showing burst of pink, blue, yellow and orange anemone-like flowers in knife strokes, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 24×20 in (61×51 cm) to 80×60 in (203×153 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Because it carries almost every accent colour at once, it can pull together a room with mixed upholstery: a pink chair, a blue cushion and an orange lamp suddenly look planned. Hang it over a dining sideboard or a run of banquette seating, low enough that the blooms sit just above the heads of seated guests. It reads crisply against black leather and dark wood panelling, and a lamp to one side brings out the ridged petals.

Specified for restaurant & bar, guest room & suite, dining room and living room; it reads as uplifting and romantic.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#778 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×20 in to 80×60 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#778 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What makes the lower half of CA#778 look like it is moving?

The knife strokes beneath the flowers all travel downward and outward from the centre, as if the bouquet were splashing onto the canvas. Their streaks of magenta, teal and orange are thinner and faster than the petals, so the top reads as solid bloom and the bottom as motion.

Could CA#778 be painted with fewer colours for a calmer scheme?

Yes. The current row runs hot pink, saffron, cobalt, orange and magenta on cream; it can be narrowed to two or three of those, for example pinks and corals only, or blues with a single yellow bloom, keeping the same knife-laid petals and layout.

Is CA#778 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#778 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#778 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
