About this painting

Coral, peach and shell-pink poppies open their petals wide across a pale cream sky, each centred on a bristling crown of saffron yellow. The petals are knifed on in thick, curling layers, and their ridged edges catch light like crêpe paper.

Below the flowers the canvas turns cooler: slate-blue and teal leaves, olive and lime pads, and thin dark stems running down like drips. Small accents complete it, a scarlet bud at upper right, marigold blooms beside the largest flower, and a blot of near-black in the top left corner that keeps the palette from turning sweet.

CA#705 is an original colorful floral painting showing bright peach, pink and orange poppy-like blooms with yellow centres, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Warm without being loud, it suits a restaurant wall seen from the entrance, the wall above a guest-room headboard, or a living room in cream and blush. The corals pick up terracotta, blush velvet, cane and limed oak, while the blue-gray leaves link to slate or dusty blue textiles. In a hotel room, choose a wall at right angles to the window, so daylight crosses the thick petals from the side and picks out every ridge.

Specified for restaurant & bar, guest room & suite, living room and bedroom; it reads as uplifting and romantic.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#705 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#705 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What gives the petals of CA#705 their papery look?

Each petal is laid with a single pass of a loaded knife, then the edge is lifted so the paint curls into a thin ridge. Lighter pink is pulled over darker coral towards the tips, which gives the crinkled, tissue-like effect of real poppy petals.

Does CA#705 work in a room with cool blue or gray furnishings?

Better than most warm florals. The slate-blue and teal leaves in the lower half already bring the cool side of the palette into the painting, so it bridges peach petals and gray or blue upholstery instead of fighting them.

Is CA#705 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#705 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#705 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
