About this painting

One flower is magnified until it overflows the square, its coral, peach and tangerine petals cut off at every side and radiating from a mustard-gold centre dotted with red and cream.

The paint goes on in broad, buttery swipes, each petal a single loaded stroke that ends in a raised lip of white or cream. Between the petals, teal and pale blue show through like shadow, and in the top left corner the paint thins so far that the canvas texture appears as a fine grid. That jump from the heaviest strokes to almost bare canvas gives the close-up its depth.

CA#1072 is an original colorful floral painting showing close-up knife-painted bloom in coral, pink and orange with a red centre on teal, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 10 standard sizes run from 24×24 in (61×61 cm) to 72×72 in (183×183 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

With no stem, vase or horizon, the bloom holds a wall at any height, so it can be centred over a console, a bedhead or the back wall of a vanity alcove. Its colours bridge terracotta, blush and duck-egg blue, which helps tie together a room that mixes warm timber with cool tiles. A thin brass or gold frame repeats the gold of the centre; light it from slightly above so the white petal tips cast small shadows.

Specified for guest room & suite, spa & wellness, bedroom and living room; it reads as uplifting and cozy & warm.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#1072 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×24 in to 72×72 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#1072 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is the bloom in CA#1072 a real species or an invented one?

It is a generalised flower rather than a botanical portrait. The flat, radiating petals and dense stamen centre suggest a cosmos or an opened hibiscus, but the colours are chosen for the palette, not for any plant, so the painting reads as colour and gesture first.

Why does the canvas weave show in one corner of CA#1072?

The paint is scraped very thin over the blue-grey underlayer at the top left, so the texture of the canvas shows as a fine grid. Next to it the petals are at their thickest, and that contrast makes the heavy strokes look heavier still.

Is CA#1072 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#1072 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#1072 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
