Fine gray stripes with a yellow band wall decor

Hundreds of hairline streaks run top to bottom, white through to charcoal, and through them rises a ragged column of lemon yellow. The yellow stops short of both edges, frayed at top and bottom like a brush lifting away, and a small grey square sits inside it a third of the way down, the one hard-edged shape in the picture.

One dark line runs the full height at the left, and a deeper grey shadow gathers right of the yellow, so the stripes blur and sharpen like a long-exposure photograph. The paint is thin and flat; the shimmer is all in the density of the lines.
