About this painting

A dark umber upright and a band of teal cross just below the centre, forming a rough cross on a ground of white and pale grey. Around the crossing, white paint is stacked in short horizontal knife strokes like the rungs of a ladder, the most heavily built part of the surface.

Teal blocks sit at upper left and lower centre, an olive-brown slab at the right, and grey is dry-dragged through the top so the white beneath shows. Below the crossing the canvas stays pale, with teal washed thinly into it. The effect is cool and architectural, like a window frame seen through mist.

AA#670 is an original abstract geometric painting showing teal, white, grey and black vertical and horizontal knife strokes, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

On a boardroom's end wall, facing the chairs rather than the screen, the cool teal and grey stay quiet through a long meeting and the crossing gives a steady anchor at seated eye level. For a guest suite, teal curtains or a velvet bench pick up its strongest colour. Dark oak, grey felt acoustic panels and blackened steel suit the umber upright, while a warm cream wall softens the whole picture.

Specified for corridor & circulation, guest room & suite, entryway & hallway and meeting & boardroom; it reads as calming and peaceful.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#670 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#670 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What are the white stacked marks at the centre of AA#670?

Short horizontal strokes of thick white, laid one above another with the edge of a knife so each leaves a raised ridge. They sit right at the crossing of the dark upright and the teal band, and in side light they cast small shadows that make the centre look almost carved.

Could the teal in AA#670 be shifted toward navy or sage?

Yes. The teal blocks can be mixed bluer, toward navy, or greener, toward sage, while the white, grey and umber structure stays as it is. Send a fabric or paint sample and the new teal is matched to sit beside it, so the canvas joins an existing scheme rather than steering it.

Is AA#670 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#670 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#670 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
