About this painting

One white parrot tulip fills most of the canvas, its frilled petals drawn in fine parallel stripes of pink, lilac, sky blue and cream that look iridescent from a distance, though each stripe is plain flat colour.

A gold centre glows at the heart of the bloom, and one petal at the top curls back on itself like a flame. Long ribbon leaves in lime and emerald sweep up from the bottom edge, striped and dotted. The background is the surprise: a patterned field of tiny teal and blue dots, with a darker green block behind the upper right, so the picture reads partly as painting, partly as mosaic.

CA#645 is an original colorful floral painting showing large white parrot tulip with pastel iridescent petals on a teal mosaic-dot background, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The teal pattern pairs well with plain, tactile surfaces: a guest bedroom with an upholstered linen headboard, a pink or clay plastered wall, a sage and blush scheme. Closing the view down a hotel corridor, the white bloom lifts out of its darker ground and can be picked out from the lifts. In a bedroom, hang it opposite the bed rather than over it, so the fine striped linework is what you see on waking.

Specified for corridor & circulation, entryway & hallway, guest room & suite and bedroom; it reads as uplifting and peaceful.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#645 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#645 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What makes the tulip in CA#645 a parrot tulip?

Parrot tulips have frilled, feathered petal edges instead of smooth cups, and that ruffled outline is what the painting exaggerates. The petals twist and split at the tips, and the pastel striping imitates the satin sheen these flowers have in strong light.

Could the teal dot field behind CA#645 be repainted in another colour?

It can. The teal and blue dots can be repainted in another tone, such as dusty pink or deep navy, while the white tulip with its pastel stripes and the green ribbon leaves stay as they are. The mosaic pattern is kept; only its colour changes, matched to a swatch you send.

Is CA#645 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#645 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#645 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
