About this painting

A small pavilion with upswept eaves perches on a teal cliff under a leaning pine, high above a torrent of white cloud that pours diagonally down the canvas. Behind it, pale grey peaks fade into a misty ground; below, a second teal boulder rises from the swirl with gold bamboo leaves fanned across its lower edge.

The scene follows the shan shui tradition of mountain-and-water painting, but the clouds are not painted flat: they are built up in raised white plaster and carved into curling, frothy ridges that look like breaking surf. Thin gold lines trace the seams of the rocks.

TA#564 is an original textured landscape painting showing teal mountain with pavilion above sculpted white cloud swirls, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a sculpted relief surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 11 standard sizes run from 18×36 in (46×91 cm) to 50×100 in (127×254 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Tall proportions and a calm grey ground suit a wall seen head-on as people arrive: facing the entrance of a spa, opposite the lifts on a hotel floor, or between doors in an executive corridor. In a boardroom it gives landscape without colour noise. Light from directly above makes the carved clouds cast fine shadows. Dark timber, slate, charcoal walls and a bonsai or stone accent all suit it.

Specified for spa & wellness, corridor & circulation, meeting & boardroom and entryway & hallway; it reads as calming and peaceful.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#564 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 18×36 in to 50×100 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Sculpted relief is built up in layers with drying time between them, so it costs more than a flat painting of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#564 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What does the pavilion among the pines in TA#564 represent?

In mountain-and-water painting a lone pavilion on a cliff is often read as a place of retreat, somewhere a scholar goes to think above the clouds, and pines are a long-standing emblem of endurance. Together they give the scene a contemplative mood that suits spas and quiet meeting rooms.

Are the white swirls in TA#564 clouds or water?

They work as both. The curling ridges read as a sea of cloud around the peaks, a classic mountain-landscape motif, but their frothy edges and downward rush also suggest a waterfall. Either way, the raised plaster gives them far more depth than the plain grey sky.

Is TA#564 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#564 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#564 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
