About this painting

Deep teal on the left of AA#269 fades through sea green into chalky cream on the right, like an old painted wall worn back in patches.

A loose grid of fine scored lines divides the surface, with short raked ridges where a tool has been pulled through thick paint, so the texture runs both up and across. Two tan-brown rectangles sit on the right edge, one in the top corner and a longer one low down, and they are the only warm notes against the blue-green. The teal is darkest along the left side, and the brightest turquoise breaks through at centre left.

AA#269 is an original abstract geometric painting showing turquoise and teal field fading into cream and tan rectangular patches with scratched grid texture, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The cool teal and pale right side let it calm a bedroom or guest suite where a dark canvas would close the room in. Beside a window, the cream half catches daylight while the teal stays deep. Along a boardroom wall it supplies colour without the hard contrast that would pull attention away from a screen. Avoid teal or green walls behind it; warm white, sand or soft clay paint lets the blue-green stand clear.

Specified for guest room & suite, meeting & boardroom, bedroom and home office; it reads as calming.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#269 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#269 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

How does the scored grid on AA#269 behave in side light?

It comes alive. The scored lines and raked ridges run both vertically and horizontally, so light from one side picks out a fine lattice of shadows across the teal and cream, much like weathered render. Lit straight on, the texture flattens and the canvas reads mainly as a soft fade of colour.

What do the tan blocks on the right of AA#269 add?

They stop the fade from feeling cold. Without the two tan-brown rectangles, one in the top corner and one lower down, the canvas would be a pure blue-green gradient; these warm patches echo wood, leather or rattan in the room and anchor the pale side so it does not drift off the edge.

Is AA#269 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#269 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#269 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
