About this painting

Soft patches of lilac-pink, powder blue, cream and sage are stacked across the canvas in short, square knife strokes, so the whole surface reads like a faded patchwork quilt. A band of periwinkle crosses the upper third almost like a distant shoreline, and below it pale blocks break up and drift downward the way reflections do on water.

One small patch of coral orange sits just left of centre, the warmest note in the picture. Scattered dark blue and black marks give the pastels something to push against, mustard and ochre touches gather down the right side, and the top edge stays pinkest and quietest.

AA#666 is an original abstract geometric painting showing pastel patchwork of pink, blue, cream and green knife blocks, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

For a hotel guest room, choose the wall opposite the bed instead of the one behind it: guests see the canvas from the pillow, and the coral patch lands near eye level when sitting up. Warm whites and soft clay tones flatter the pinks, whereas a stark cool white can turn them chalky. Pale ash, cane and blush or sage textiles repeat its colours, and a single coral cushion or lamp base picks up the one warm accent.

Specified for corridor & circulation, guest room & suite, bedroom and entryway & hallway; it reads as calming and romantic.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#666 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#666 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is the periwinkle band in AA#666 meant as a shoreline?

Not literally, but it can be read that way. Together with the broken pale blocks below it, the band suggests a waterside town reflected in still water, and some viewers see that straight away. Nothing is drawn as a building or boat, so the painting sits just as well in a room with no coastal theme.

What does the small coral patch do in AA#666?

It anchors the composition. Without it the pinks, blues and creams would sit at the same soft pitch and the canvas could look washed out. The coral, just left of centre, is the one saturated note, so it gives the eye a resting point and a colour to repeat in a cushion, vase or piping.

Is AA#666 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#666 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#666 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
