About this painting

Soft rounded shapes drift across a square canvas like petals on water: dusty rose and raspberry along the top, an apricot oval just above centre, and pools of dusty blue gathering at the lower left and right.

The middle stays open, worked in white and cream so the colours float around a pale clearing, with a sage green patch at the left and a thin curl of ochre at the lower right. One dark navy shape at the bottom edge anchors the rest. The paint goes on in broad, round brushstrokes with the bristle marks left showing, and stays flat.

AA#171 is an original abstract painting showing soft overlapping pastel blobs in blue, pink, cream and green, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 10 standard sizes run from 24×24 in (61×61 cm) to 72×72 in (183×183 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

It holds up on surprisingly dark walls: against walnut-stained or smoked-oak panelling the white centre glows and the pastels look richer, while on pale grey it turns airy and quiet. In a spa reception or a guest suite, repeat its sage green in upholstery and let the dusty blue appear in bed linen or curtains. Keep metal finishes soft, brushed brass rather than polished chrome.

Specified for guest room & suite, spa & wellness, bedroom and living room; it reads as calming and romantic.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#171 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×24 in to 72×72 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#171 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What keeps AA#171 from looking too sweet?

The single navy shape at the bottom edge and the dusty, greyed tones. Rose, blue and green are all softened with white rather than used pure, and that dark note gives the eye a weight to rest on, so the canvas reads as calm rather than sugary.

Could AA#171 be painted with less pink for a blue and green room?

Yes. The dusty rose and raspberry along the top and the apricot oval can be turned toward more of the dusty blue and sage already in the picture, or softened to a faint blush, while the white centre and the navy anchor stay as they are.

Is AA#171 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#171 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#171 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
