Indigo combed stripes and scribbled contour canvas art

Fine horizontal lines rule most of the canvas like a ledger page, flooded with indigo at the top and fading to pale grey-white toward the bottom. Over them wander loose hand-drawn contours: a lopsided loop, a few open arcs and a small tick near the top, none closing into anything recognisable.

A strip of white runs down the right side, scraped with short blue drag marks that slant in rows like rain on a window. Ruled order on one side and quick scuffs on the other give the piece its tension, and all of it is painted flat.
