About this painting

A dark navy band cuts across the upper third of AA#261 like a distant shoreline, with a strip of pale grey-blue sky above it and a wide, chalky white field running down to the bottom edge.

Just under the band on the right, one thin red line runs out to the edge, its single warm note. Thick paint has been dragged sideways, so the navy has ragged, raised edges, and the white below is scraped with fine grey streaks and a few dark flecks. Below a soft blue-grey cloud at the left, the lower half is left open, giving the horizon room to breathe.

AA#261 is an original abstract landscape painting showing white knife-textured field with a navy blue band across the upper third and a thin red line, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 24×20 in (61×51 cm) to 80×60 in (203×153 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Hang it so the navy band sits a little above seated eye level along the long wall of a boardroom; people at the table then look across the quiet white field toward the horizon line. For a guest suite, choose the wall opposite the headboard, where the low horizon greets someone who has just woken. The white ground melts into limewash or pale plaster walls, the navy picks up denim or blue-grey stone, and the red line justifies one rust or oxblood accent elsewhere.

Specified for meeting & boardroom, guest room & suite, home office and living room; it reads as calming and peaceful.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#261 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×20 in to 80×60 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#261 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is AA#261 a seascape or a pure abstract?

Either reading works. The navy band and pale strip above it behave like a horizon over water or snow, so many people see a coastal view, yet nothing is drawn literally. Hung alone in a quiet room it reads as landscape; grouped with other abstracts it reads as colour blocks.

What role does the thin red line play in AA#261?

It warms a cool canvas and gives the eye somewhere to stop. Without it the picture would be entirely navy, grey and white; the short red stroke under the band at right is the detail people notice second, and its colour can be repeated in a cushion, a leather chair or a row of book spines.

Is AA#261 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#261 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#261 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
