About this painting

A slab of scraped grey plaster fills the upper left of the canvas, hard up against a broad field of mustard yellow that runs down the right side and pools again at the bottom left. Through the seam between them runs a dark brown stroke, which turns sideways near the base and lets loose a row of drips.

The grey is the only part in true relief: troweled on, then scraped into ridges and shallow square hollows. The yellow is brushed in sweeps with scratched lines through it, and the lower right opens into chalky white with just a faint taupe smear near the edge.

AA#307 is an original abstract geometric painting showing yellow, grey and white abstract colour blocks with drips and scraped plaster, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a sculpted relief surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Yellow this saturated needs a dark or neutral surround to hold it: charcoal fluted panelling, black steel, smoked oak or deep green upholstery like the sofa shown. In a showroom or reception it is legible from the entrance because the yellow carries so far. Since the plaster sits top left, light from above or from the right will rake across the ridges. Keep it off warm beige walls, where the white area loses its edge.

Specified for gallery & retail, lobby & reception, workspace & office and living room; it reads as bold and moody.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#307 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Sculpted relief is built up in layers with drying time between them, so it costs more than a flat painting of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#307 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Which part of AA#307 has the plaster relief?

Only the grey block in the upper left. It is troweled on and scraped into ridges and small square hollows, so it casts its own shadows. The yellow and white areas are brushed, marked by scratches and drips rather than built-up plaster, which keeps the relief concentrated in one corner.

What job does the dark brown stroke do in AA#307?

It ties the three colour blocks together. The stroke runs down the seam between the grey plaster and the yellow, then swings sideways near the bottom, where it drips. Without it the canvas would be three separate fields; with it, one gesture crosses all of them.

Is AA#307 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#307 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#307 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
