About this painting

Loose strokes of saffron yellow, orange, coral pink and brick red stack up in rough, overlapping blocks, painted fast and left unblended. At the top left a white panel is slashed with blue-black drag marks; beside it a tall sand-coloured shape is ringed in yellow, and a column of red and pink chevrons climbs the upper centre.

A wide band of yellow and orange crosses the middle, and the lower left knots into maroon, rust, mauve and small pink dabs. Touches of grey-blue and lilac along the edges stop all that warmth from turning hot.

AA#617 is an original abstract painting showing loose abstract-expressionist strokes in yellow, orange, pink, red and white, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Neutral surroundings let its colour do the work: white or oatmeal walls, pale upholstery and travertine, as in a lounge with low cream sofas. In a restaurant, hang it on the wall guests face as they come in, or above a banquette where diners see it over each other's shoulders. The loose marks hold together at a distance and stay interesting up close, so it also works on a lobby wall seen from both the door and the seating.

Specified for restaurant & bar, lobby & reception, living room and dining room; it reads as bold and uplifting.

Colour palette

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#617 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#617 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Does AA#617 show anything recognisable?

Not deliberately. It is abstract expressionist in spirit, built from gesture and colour rather than objects, though some viewers pick out a window, a striped awning or a crowd in the lower left. That open reading lets it sit in casual and formal rooms alike.

Could the yellow, coral and red of AA#617 be swapped for cooler colours?

Yes. The arrangement of blocks and gestures can be repainted in another family, for example teal, cobalt and moss, while keeping the white panel and the dark marks. Because the strokes are loose, the new version keeps the same energy but will never be an exact match.

Is AA#617 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#617 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#617 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
