About this painting

A woman in a chrome-yellow dress sits in a dark brown armchair, her face in profile and two pale hands meeting at her chest. She is drawn twice over: once as a block of flat yellow, and once as a single white line that loops round her shoulders and down to her knees.

A black line traces a second profile leaning in from the right and runs down the right edge to a looped foot. Behind her, terracotta and rust blocks stack against a cream ground, and a band of dusty blue crosses at seat height. Every surface is flat and matte; the drawing lives in the lines.

AA#105 is an original abstract figurative painting showing Picasso-style line-drawn woman in a yellow dress seated in a brown armchair, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

A seated figure looks most at ease above seating: over a banquette, a reading chair or a low console in a restaurant's waiting area, hung so her face sits just above standing eye level. Mid-century teak and woven rush suit the line drawing, and a mustard or ochre textile somewhere in the room repeats the dress without matching it. A warm white or soft grey wall keeps the cream edges crisp.

Specified for restaurant & bar, dining room, gallery & retail and living room; it reads as uplifting and bold.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#105 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#105 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Who is the second face drawn in black line in AA#105?

The black line forms another profile meeting hers at the top of the canvas, then runs down the right side as an arm and a leg. Many viewers read the picture as a couple sharing one chair, though the woman in yellow is clearly the main subject.

Why does AA#105 use both white and black outlines?

The two colours belong to the two figures. The white line follows the woman and stays readable over the brown chair, where black would sink, while the black line belongs to the second profile and shows up against the cream and blue on the right.

Is AA#105 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#105 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#105 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
