About this painting

Dozens of rounded, faceted shapes overlap like pebbles seen through tinted glass, light and warm near the top edge, settling into heavier slate and oxblood towards the bottom.

Where two shapes overlap the tone shifts, as if one translucent layer lay over another, so ochre, terracotta, sage, blush and grey-blue multiply into many in-between shades. The paint is matte, with soft brush marks inside each facet. Small hits of saturation keep the field awake: a vermilion sliver at the left edge, a cobalt flash at lower right and a hot orange patch at the base.

AA#302 is an original abstract geometric painting showing overlapping faceted curved shapes in ochre, terracotta, sage, blush pink and grey-blue, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The matte surface throws back no glare from track spots or side windows, which matters in a corridor or lobby where people see it at an angle while walking past. Its darker lower shapes give it a natural base, so it can sit low over a bench or console without looking sunk. Limewashed plaster, weathered oak and stoneware share its earth tones; a brilliant white wall tends to make the pale upper shapes look chalky.

Specified for lobby & reception, dining room, living room and corridor & circulation; it reads as uplifting and cozy & warm.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#302 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#302 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What makes the shapes in AA#302 look see-through?

Each overlap is painted as its own tone, slightly darker or cooler than the two shapes that meet there, so the eye reads them as transparent layers stacked one over another. The effect comes from colour choice, since every crossing has its own mixed shade.

Which colour in AA#302 should a room repeat?

The ochre and saffron of the upper shapes is the easiest thread: a mustard throw, a brass lamp or tan leather picks it up without competing. Slate grey suits larger surfaces such as a sofa or rug, while the cobalt and vermilion slivers are too small to repeat and work best left to the canvas.

Is AA#302 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#302 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#302 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
