About this painting

Rounded slabs of sage, moss and olive green lock together around a stepped black channel, like puzzle pieces nudged slightly out of place. The palest block, an arch with one curved shoulder, stands at the upper left; a deeper green tab with softened corners sits just right of centre, and a broad mid-green field fills the top right almost untouched.

Every surface is matte and chalky, with a faint mottle and speckle in every green, so no block reads as a plain swatch. Even the black carries a dusty grain that keeps it soft against the greens.

AA#232 is an original abstract geometric painting showing sage green and black geometric block shapes, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Green and near-black give it a quiet, grounded weight that sits well in a boardroom lined in walnut or oak, or on the wall a person faces from a desk all day. For a guest suite, the wall facing the bed works best, set against putty or warm white plaster. The shapes are large and simple, so the tall format holds up even in a narrow wall bay; bronze hardware and cream boucle pick up its warmth.

Specified for meeting & boardroom, workspace & office, guest room & suite and home office; it reads as calming.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#232 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#232 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why does the black in AA#232 look charcoal in places?

It is painted with a mottled, dusty grain rather than as a solid coat, so under strong light parts of it read as soft charcoal instead of ink black. That keeps the contrast with the sage blocks gentle rather than graphic, which suits a calm room.

How does AA#232 sit alongside other greens in a room?

It already holds three greens, from pale sage to deep olive, so plants, green velvet or a moss rug will not clash with it. Repeat the darkest olive in one textile and let the pale sage tie to warm white walls; bright emerald or mint would look synthetic beside these greyed greens.

Is AA#232 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#232 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#232 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
