About this painting

A glass pavilion is drawn in fine black line across an olive green field, its long window wall opening onto a garden of leaves and young trees. The building is just a band of glazing in sharp perspective: two runs of panes meet at a corner, with a pale interior glimpsed behind, and a few ruled lines below suggest a floor fading into the green.

Two long black bars, a narrow outlined frame at the left edge and a pair of white posts under the right-hand window break the empty green into sections. The ground is mottled, darker towards the edges, and painted flat in matte acrylic.

MA#486 is an original minimalist cityscape painting showing line sketch of a modernist glass pavilion with garden plants on an olive green field, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 24×20 in (61×51 cm) to 80×60 in (203×153 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Its band of drawing sits in the upper half, so over a credenza or a long low sofa the garden detail lands near eye level for someone seated. The olive looks richest against cream or stone-coloured plaster, walnut and dark leather. For an architecture practice, a developer's sales suite or a property firm's meeting room, the subject speaks directly to the work done there. The line is fine and the surface matte, so even, soft light shows it best.

Specified for meeting & boardroom, workspace & office, home office and living room; it reads as calming and moody.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for MA#486 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×20 in to 80×60 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on MA#486 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is MA#486 a portrait of a particular modernist house?

It is not presented as one. The floor-to-ceiling glazing, slim structure and garden pressed against the windows are the shared vocabulary of mid-century glass pavilions, so the painting reads as an idea of modernist living rather than a named landmark tied to one architect or site.

What are the straight vertical bars doing in MA#486?

They work like the construction lines on an architectural drawing. The black bars and the outlined frame on the left split the olive ground into bays, and the two white posts under the right window can be read as the supports of a raised floor. They stop the wide empty green from looking unfinished.

Is MA#486 a print or an original painting?

An original. MA#486 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of MA#486 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
