About this painting

A five-pointed slab of burnt orange, like a cut-out star with softened corners, fills the centre of a chalk-white canvas and runs off its right-hand edge. Its surface is mottled with darker rust veins, and a thin gold line wanders over it from top to bottom.

Gold appears twice more: a grainy, sand-textured slab along the left edge and one broad vertical stroke dragged up the lower centre. At upper left a black shape is spattered with gold flecks like a night sky, and a small grey-black pebble sits on the orange's right flank. Fine black outlines trace the edges of each form.

AA#180 is an original abstract geometric painting showing orange and gold textured abstract shapes with black accents on white, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Burnt orange and gold hold their warmth in low light, so it suits spaces that are dim by design: a lobby clad in smoked oak, a boutique with black stone counters, a living room painted charcoal or espresso. Against those dark surfaces the white ground comes forward like a lit panel. A slim gold or brass frame repeats the gold strokes. Hang it with the centre of the orange star at about eye height, roughly 150 cm from the floor.

Specified for lobby & reception, gallery & retail, workspace & office and living room; it reads as bold and dramatic.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#180 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#180 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why do the gold areas on AA#180 look so different from each other?

Each is worked differently. The slab on the left edge has a grainy, sand-like surface that catches light in tiny points, the vertical stroke near the bottom is dragged with a loaded brush so it shows streaks and a frayed top, and the thin line simply rides over the orange.

What does the black spattered shape at the top of AA#180 do?

It balances the orange. Without that dark corner the warm star would pull the whole canvas to the right; the black mass, sprinkled with gold, anchors the top left and gives the eye a second stop before it drops to the gold slab below.

Is AA#180 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#180 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#180 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
