About this painting

A burnt orange dome rises from the bottom left of a cream canvas, while a chain of broken gold marks tumbles diagonally from the top corner down to meet it.

Behind the orange sits a powder-blue form with a dry, scumbled surface, and a peach crescent of thicker paint curls over the dome's shoulder. At the upper right a black wedge, brushed so its strokes show, carries a strip of gold along its edge. Fine black lines drop from the top in long, loose curves, and thin white lines cross the orange, tying the shapes together across a lot of open cream.

AA#045 is an original abstract geometric painting showing organic orange, blue and black shapes with gold-leaf drips, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

With so much cream ground, it reads lighter than its orange and black suggest, so it holds a plain white wall without looking heavy and also sits well against warm greige or limewash. In a lobby it pairs with walnut, black metal trim and leather seating. Light it with one spot from above, as in the photographs: the gold marks along the diagonal glint and the black wedge keeps its brushed texture. Keep competing artwork off the same wall.

Specified for corridor & circulation, entryway & hallway, lobby & reception and living room; it reads as bold and uplifting.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#045 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#045 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What does the gold diagonal in AA#045 do in the composition?

It connects the two strong shapes. The gold starts at the top left corner and runs down to the shoulder of the orange dome, and a matching strip of gold edges the black wedge opposite, so the eye moves between them instead of seeing two separate blocks in two corners.

Is the orange in AA#045 closer to rust or tangerine?

Closer to rust. It is a burnt, slightly brown orange with darker mottling, so it suits terracotta, tan and walnut better than bright citrus accents. The powder blue beside it cools it a little, which stops the canvas from looking autumnal.

Is AA#045 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#045 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#045 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
